We are seeking a skilled **Data DevOps Engineer** to join our newly formed team of infrastructure engineers responsible for supporting our data processing pipeline infrastructure cluster.
As a Data DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in incident response, problem management, and continuous configuration improvements across our data infrastructure landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- React promptly to incidents within the data processing infrastructure
- Trace issues from AWS level down to specific data pipeline configurations
- Address and resolve problems, or escalate them to the data team with well-founded arguments
- Implement changes and updates in the infrastructure environment
- Set up new instances and configure them according to requirements
- Add new and fix existing CD pipelines to enhance deployment processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies
- Monitor system performance and suggest improvements to boost efficiency and reduce downtime
- Document technical procedures and configurations for future reference and compliance
- Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in data infrastructure technology
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps engineer, system administrator, or similar role in a data-centric environment
- Proficiency in AWS and Kubernetes (K8S)
- Background in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) implementations
- Competency in Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment processes




- Knowledge of Airflow or Spark for handling data pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
