Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in developing scalable APIs and backend services. The idóneo candidate will have a solid background in designing and building high-performance distributed systems capable of supporting thousands of requests per second (RPS). This individual will also help guide engineering teams, promote coding best practices, and contribute to technical strategy.
Paramount operates in a multi-cloud environment, leveraging Java (Spring Boot), Golang, and a variety of cloud technologies across AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support its streaming infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement scalable middleware APIs and backend services supporting user management and other core API services across Pluto TV.




Build highly performant systems using Java (Spring Boot) and Golang, capable of handling thousands of requests per second (RPS).
Optimize, maintain, and enhance existing high-performance services running on both AWS and GCP.
Integrate services across Paramount Streaming platforms to ensure seamless functionality and user experience.
Leverage GCP technologies such as Pub/Sub, GKE, and Cloud SQL to build robust, scalable, and resilient systems.
Maintain and support AWS services including EKS, ECS, Lambda, and Step Functions during cloud transformation initiatives.
Advocate for coding excellence and enforce software engineering best practices for high-throughput applications.
Participate actively in system design, architecture reviews, and technical decision-making.
Contribute to technical roadmaps and long-term platform strategies across AWS and GCP ecosystems.
