Position Summary
The Labor Relations Professional will be responsible for supporting the management of labor relations activities within the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws, internal policies, collective bargaining agreements —if applicable— and Human Resources best practices.
This role will be key in maintaining a positive work environment, preventing employee relations issues, and providing support in disciplinary processes, workplace investigations, labor cases, negotiations, and employee matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to leaders, supervisors, and employees regarding labor relations matters, internal policies, and employment regulations.
- Support disciplinary processes, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with established procedures.
- Participate in workplace investigations related to complaints, conflicts, policy violations, employee relations concerns, or conduct issues.
- Follow up on labor cases, incidents, administrative records, corrective actions, and employee terminations.




- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders to ensure proper resolution of labor-related issues.
- Support the relationship with unions, employee representatives, or joint committees, when applicable.
- Prepare labor documentation, reports, employee files, and supporting evidence required for internal or external audits.
- Ensure compliance with local labor legislation, internal policies, workplace rules, and company procedures.
- Collaborate on initiatives focused on conflict prevention, employee engagement, internal communication, and organizational culture.
- Support resignation, termination, severance, and conciliation processes in coordination with HR, Legal, and Payroll.
- Identify labor risks and propose preventive actions to mitigate potential issues.
- Support training sessions for leaders on employee management, progressive discipline, labor compliance, and proper documentation.
