About the Company

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Platform Architect / Lead Engineer to design, build, and operationalize a modern enterprise Snowflake data platform from the ground up.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for platform architecture, data engineering, governance, security, automation, performance optimization, and production operations.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise Snowflake architecture, including databases, schemas, virtual warehouses, RBAC, networking, security, governance, and Dev/Test/Prod environments.
- Build batch, CDC, streaming, and real-time ingestion pipelines using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, APIs, cloud storage, and ETL/ELT tools.
- Develop raw, staging, curated, dimensional, semantic, and analytics data layers.
- Implement masking, row/column-level security, object tagging, lineage, access policies, and compliance controls.
- Optimize Snowflake performance through warehouse tuning, clustering, query optimization, resource monitoring, and cost management.
- Establish CI/CD,



automated deployment, Infrastructure-as-Code, and DataOps practices.
- Build monitoring, alerting, disaster recovery, backup, replication, and production support processes.
- Enable secure data sharing and integration with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and other BI platforms.
- Lead technical design sessions, define enterprise standards, and mentor engineering teams.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Enterprise Data Warehousing.
- 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience in enterprise production environments.
- Proven experience designing and deploying Snowflake platforms from the ground up.
- Strong expertise in SQL, Snowflake architecture, RBAC, security, governance, performance tuning, and workload optimization.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience with dbt, Airflow, Matillion, Fivetran, Informatica
