**Role Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaboratively work with the development team to understand product specifications and requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to troubleshoot and ensure timely resolution.
- Analyze requirements and user stories to ensure comprehensive test coverage and clarity.
- Participate in test planning, contributing to detailed strategies and providing feedback on user experience, functionality, and performance.
- Maintain and update test documentation, including test cases, execution results, and best practices.
- Actively engage in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives, representing the QA perspective.
- Conduct manual release testing (smoke testing) to ensure software quality before production deployment.




- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual QA testing, with a strong knowledge of
black-box testing techniques.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails and/or WordPress development is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to perform manual testing.
- Proficiency in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Knowledge of functional, regression, and exploratory testing practices.
- Ability to document and communicate bugs, issues, and recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Experience with B2C, SaaS, and Stripe.
