We are currently seeking talented a Field Applications Senior Engineer who want to join a dynamic and experienced team and take their technical knowledge to the next level in our mission of excellence.
**In your new role you will**:
- Key customer interface for technical support and Demand Creation activitiex
- Create solutions for customer specific problems with Infineon products
- Provide on-site support for Infineon products
- Customer design-in support including schematic and layout reviews
- Conduct product family presentations and training courses on Infineon productsGather North American regional requirements and influence the feature sets provided in Infineon's future product families
**You are best equipped for this task if you have**:
- BSEE
- Strong customer interface and project/program management skills
- Application level understanding of automotive control electronics
- Semiconductor industry experience with understanding of product development and qualification
- PCB design experience is preferred
- Knowledge of Engineering tools such as PSPICE, Saber, MathCAD,Matlab/Simulink, LabView, etc.
- Experience in the lab environment: tools such as oscilloscopes and other test equipment in addition to prototyping tools (soldering iron,etc)
- Ability to work with automotive OEM and T1 customers




- Understanding of OEM/Tier1 product development and qualification process is preferred10 to 20% travel may be required
