About the role

The Senior Category Manager – Machined Castings will lead the global strategy for the machined castings category, driving supplier performance, cost competitiveness, and long-term sourcing strategy. This role plays a critical part in aligning engineering, product management, and supply chain to ensure the right supplier network is in place to support business growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Category Manager – Machined Castings, you’ll be responsible for:
- Define and execute the global category strategy and technology roadmap for machined castings




- Develop and manage a high-performing global supplier network aligned with cost, quality, delivery, and reliability objectives
- Lead supplier selection, qualification, and development in collaboration with engineering and product teams, especially during NPI phases
- Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies, including dual sourcing and supplier diversification
- Negotiate long-term global contracts and drive continuous cost improvement initiatives
