Summary:
The Buyer is responsible for purchasing all production materials for the organization, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods at competitive prices. Based in Reynosa, Mexico, this role involves generating and validating purchase requisitions, negotiating terms and pricing with suppliers, evaluating supplier performance, and supporting operations by driving cost savings and ensuring on-time delivery. The adecuado candidate brings demonstrated experience in supplier evaluation, cross-functional collaboration,



and a proactive approach to cost optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and validate purchase requisitions, develop and solicit quotes, analyze and evaluate responses, negotiate prices and terms, oversee delivery, and maintain necessary records.
- Convert all requisitions into purchase orders for suppliers using the current MRP system.
- Evaluate supplier reliability and performance.
- Coordinate competitive and sole-source procurement to meet required purchase dates and prepare supporting documentation.
- Conduct significant procurement negotiations involving agreements on terms and conditions, pricing, and schedules.
- Track, expedite, and negotiate changes related to supplier delivery and performance.
- Maintain professional relationships with internal and external clients and suppliers.
