We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Go Language Developer** to join our engineering team.
**Responsibilities**
- Communicate with customers and handle their requests promptly
- Create and maintain infrastructure for unit and automated testing
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and performant services
- Engage with teams across the organization to consider the broader technical implications of design decisions
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, knowledge sharing, and best practice adherence
- Own or contribute to the creation of technical design proposals and proof of concepts
- Advocate for engineering best practices throughout the organization
- Foster operational excellence through meticulous testing and monitoring of systems and code, comprehensive documentation, and participating in on-call rotations
**Requirements**:
- At least 3 years of total software development experience
- Minimum 2 years of strong experience in Go
- Proficiency in gRPC
- Significant expertise in designing, building, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based web services and microservices, preferably with AWS
- Knowledge of container technology, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Detail-oriented with a passion for code quality, best practices, continuous delivery, and automated testing
- Flexibility to adapt to various tools and technologies
- Capability to work directly with customers without supervision
- English proficiency level B2 or higher
**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with GraphQL
- Skills in TypeScript
- Understanding of Redis
- Background in Python
- Competency in content management systems like Contentful
