Optimization of seat cutting, sewing, through continuous improvement, the use of Lean Manufacturing tools, and teamwork.
This position is responsible for leading new launches and engineering changes at the plant. Administrative tasks for the project manager and team members to keep the project running smoothly. This may include ordering equipment and supplies, managing deadlines and workflow, and scheduling meetings and appointments.

Main Responsibilities and Activities

• Line balancing and elimination of bottlenecks through time analysis.
• Implementation of cost-saving ideas.
• Improvements to machinery and equipment
• Development and implementation of better technologies.
• Improvements to process flows.
• Redefinition of the layout
• Monitoring and updating AMEF, and reducing RPNs
• Updating, developing, and controlling process sheets and process documentation.
• Purchasing machinery and equipment.
• Participating in IATF audits
• Participating in VDA audits
• Knowledge of Core Tools (AMEF, DF, APQP, PPAP)




• Knowledge of GD&T;
• Knowledge of Optitex or Accunest and Accumark (applies to Cutting & Sewing)
• Optional: Knowledge of Navistar and Daimler CSR
• Validates the components and quantities used in the product manufacturing process through BOM audits.
• Validate product cycle times through route audits.
• Coordinate engineering changes requested by customers and internally.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and climate change policies
• Identify, control, and minimize significant environmental aspects relevant to your area of work.
• Coordinate the project team to meet KPI objectives
• Assist with prototype and pre-launch process issues
