BorgWarner is currently looking for a “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Sr. PLM at our Irapuato facility in Mexico.
The Product Line Manager is fully responsible for and expected to meet and exceed customer satisfaction expectations (quality and delivery), employee satisfaction expectations (safety and morale) and shareholder satisfaction expectations (DivOp & Economic Value). The Product Line Manager, in conjunction with the Sales and Engineering groups, develops and successfully implements business plans and strategies in support of new products and new product launches. The Product Line Manager resolves related business issues and effectively develops personnel in a location.
KEY FUNCTIONS
- Direct all production activities at the plant site.
- Align plant production objectives with overall business unit strategy.
- Ensure maximum efficiency and productivity of production facility.
- Ensure production volume, cost and quality of production, and production schedules are met.
- Manage, train, and develop direct reports through the use of TMS and other developmental programs.
QUALIFICATIONS




- Bachelor Degree in related discipline
- MBA preferred
- 8 plus years of experience in manufacturing related field
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience supervising a group of mid or senior level professionals in a manufacturing environment
- Recognized expert with ability to convey/train knowledge to others
