**Your Job**
Responsible for conducting and managing various tests based on their respective test area of expertise to ensure product quality and compliance with standards. They provide technical support, manage equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test method eƯiciency and accuracy.

Molex LLC (part of Koch Industries) is a manufacturer of electronic, electrical, and fiber optic connectivity systems offering over 100,000 products across a variety of industries, including automotive, data communications, medical, industrial, and consumer electronics. We are looking for a Laboratory Test Technician to join the team in our plant in Zacoalco, Jalisco.
**What You Will Do**
- Conduct various types of testing in respective trained area accurately and on time with high quality.
- Create and maintain testing WI that are standardized, repeatable, and efective in uncovering failures.
- Actively assist the team in handling test issues and help team members resolve on-site test problems promptly, ensuring the smooth progression of projects.
- Assist in resolving equipment failures, ensuring tests meet quality system requirements.
- Complete equipment maintenance and interim checks to maintain accuracy of test results and project progress.
- In depth understanding of product to be tested and customer test specifications.
- Keep the data upload tool/database up to date after each task and upload raw data of each test.
- Drive and actively participate in any test related 8D issues to completion to address root causes for assigned project.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Technical training in an electro-mechanical field with strong experience of laboratory testing.
- Proven hands on mechanical or electrical skills involving critical thinking.
**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Knowledge or use of the set-up/programming of lab equipment such as:
- Electronic test and measurement equipment
- Insulation Resistance Meters, Dielectric Strength meters
- Data acquisition systems for voltage and current.
- Environmental Exposure, Chemical Resistance.
- Knowledge in Vibration Testing and Random vibration.
- Knowledge in Climatic Chambers.

- Prepare Samples of Molex products for Test Validation. Products include but are not limited to connectors, receptacles, blades and wire harnesses according to customer specifications.
- Setup and operate standard and custom testing equipment. Equipment includes but are not limited to electronic voltage, current, and data acquisition systems.
- Perform general testing, report as required and assist with measurement systems analysis for routine testing procedures. Test Procedures includes but are not limited to Water Submersions, High Pressure spray, leak test, Electrical, Environmental Exposure & Mechanical testing.
- Assist in cross function training with other laboratory technicians within the general organization.
