The Financial Services Specialist, Sr focuses on resolving delinquent accounts while improving collection processes within the organization. This role requires decision-making skills, judgment regarding accounts receivable, and strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
**What you will be doing**:
- Strive to consistently meet or exceed monthly forecast collections for assigned regions.
- Contact internal and external customers following ESC Policies and Procedures.
- Identify disputes as defined by ESC and enter them into the system.
- Collaborate with management to reduce at-risk dollars and improve forecast goals.
- Prepare monthly reports on the status of credit issues within assigned regions.
- Manage and maintain all customer accounts within the assigned collection region.
- Build and maintain close working relationships with both customers and ESC management.
- Ensure past-due dollars are reduced and inform management of potential bad debt accounts.
- Prepare accounts for collections and escalate as necessary.
- Handle complex issues, serving as a Subject Matter Expert.
- May act as a Lead for team initiatives or projects.

- 3+ years of applicable experience in accounts receivable or collections.
- Adaptability and willingness to improve and streamline processes.
