**The Role**
The Role As a Website Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining our marketing website to support business objectives and deliver an optimized user experience. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Operations and working closely with the Website Specialist located in the APAC region, you will play a key role in ensuring our website is high-performing, scalable, and aligned with business goals. Your expertise with Jamstack tools, ideally the Hugo SSG will be critical for maintaining and improving site functionality. Additionally, you will contribute to SEO strategies, performance optimisation, and analytics tracking to enhance our digital marketing efforts.
**What You’ll Be Doing**:
- Develop and maintain marketing websites and landing pages using Hugo and other Jamstack tools.
- Optimise website performance,
responsiveness, and accessibility to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Implement and maintain SEO best practices to enhance organic search visibility and drive traffic.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing strategists to execute marketing campaigns and web projects.
- Ensure seamless integration of web assets with content management, analytics, and marketing platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end development issues, ensuring smooth digital experiences across all platforms.
- Utilise A/B testing, CRO tools such as VWO, and performance tracking to improve website conversion rates.
- Work with analytics tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Segment to track user interactions and provide insights on web performance.
- Ensure compliance with privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, Aus Privacy Act, etc.) in website tracking and data collection.
- Work with web hosting providers and manage platform configurations to ensure optimal uptime and security.
**What We Are Looking For**:
- 5+ years of experience in front-end web development, preferably within a marketing or digital environment.
- Strong expertise in Hugo or similar SSG and CMS platforms.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
- Experience working with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Segment, and other tracking technologies.
- Understanding of client and server-side tracking and experience with implementation.
- Familiarity with personalisation and segmentation tools to enhance user experience.
- Experience working with web hosting providers and platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
