We are seeking a knowledgeable **Azure Solution Architect I**to lead a critical on-premises-to-Azure migration project.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop the end-to-end migration strategy from on-premises to Azure using AVS and Azure Migrate
- Oversee connectivity solutions including ExpressRoute for integration with additional data centers and Azure regions
- Design scalable and secure infrastructure patterns using VMware, F5 load balancers, firewalls, storage solutions, and SQL databases in Azure
- Collaborate with various teams—network, security, database, operations—to assure seamless integration and mínimal downtime
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams and align their efforts with project goals
- Troubleshoot technical issues, propose innovative solutions, and revise architectural designs as required
- Communicate project updates, technical recommendations, and risk assessments to stakeholders
- Monitor project progress and adjust timelines and strategies as necessary
- Ensure adherence to best practices and compliance throughout the project lifecycle
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 7 years of practical hands-on experience in software development
- Extensive experience in datacenter-to-cloud migrations, specifically with Azure and AVS
- Proven skills in VMware, ExpressRoute, vMotion, and Azure Migrate
- Understanding of multi-region architectures in Azure, including failover and secondary region strategies
- Proficiency in load balancing technologies (F5), firewall configurations, and SQL database incorporation in Azure infrastructure
- Excellent leadership skills to manage and mentor engineering teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Relevant Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification preferred
- Desirable VMware certifications
- Advanced proficiency in English (B2+/C1)

- Familiarity with additional cloud migration tools
- Background in optimizing cloud performance and cost management
- Understanding of advanced cloud security configurations
