Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Buyer Indirect_ located in _Guadalajara, North_._
What a typical day looks like:
- _ Experience in MRO, IT and Services commodities, understanding of technical data sheets for spare parts & equipment, consumables, PPE etc._
- _ Understanding of contract management and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to set up contracts._
- _ Work with stakeholders to review and approve the requisitions received on a day-to-day basis._
- _ Renegotiate periodically the prices with the vendors and develop objectives, plans, and procedures for the timely, effective procurement of materials, supplies, and services, required by the company._
- _ Lead the sourcing process from start to finish, including guiding a cross-functional team through bid evaluation, selection criteria, supplier award and contracting processes._




- _ Implement Indirect Procurement strategies to consolidate supply base, increase the spend under management, expand Preferred Supplier List, and improve overall cycle time._
- _ Manage relationships with suppliers and stakeholders through quarterly business reviews, timely contract negotiations, and completing action plans._
- _ Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, reporting capabilities, and consultative approach of facilities-related procurement._
- _ Heavy focus on Indirect Procurement policies, Financial policies, and compliance; always striving to do the right thing._
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- _ BA/BS or equivalent work experience_
- _ Solid experience in procurement._
- _ Data analysis required, management expert Excel databases (Pivot tables, Formulas, macros)._
- _ English proficiency is a MUST, ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing._
- _ Demonstrated ability to manage small projects with mínimal oversight._
- _ ESD - ANSI 2020 certification and/or Lean Green Belt preferred._
