**Position Purpose**
Bidding Coordinator: Responsible for coordinating and scheduling the submission of biddings for new stores based on the current pipeline, ensuring that all stores are bidding in a timely manner. Likewise, it reviews winning proposals and follows up with unit price Analysts and Project Managers on all Changer Orders until negotiating with the builders the closing for capitalizations. Develops and implements processes for the review of extraordinary concepts and formats for Change Orders, training internal Autozone personnel and external suppliers. Manages and clarifies concepts with the greatest impact on the budget prior to the start of the works in conjunction with the Structures, Design and Construction departments.
**Primary Accountabilities**
- Coordinate and schedule the sending of biddings based on the current pipeline, by attending Design Exchange meetings, reviewing the soil mechanics study and reviewing plans.
- Coordinate and schedule the review of Change Orders, following up with the Cost Analysts until negotiating with the Contractor by validating the execution of work, times and everything that has been involved in the works, working together with the Project Managers and the External Supervision of each site.
- Review of Bid budgets by validating volumetrics, cross-referencing of information vs. plans,



analysis of unit prices, implementation of geotechnical recommendations.
- Development and implementation of the process for reviewing extraordinary concepts, establishing commitment dates and following up, in coordination with the Construction Department.
- Preparation and implementation of formats for Change Orders, training the 33 current Contractors we have plus those who will be added to the registry.
- Follow-up to weekly meetings with the Project Managers to review and release Change Orders within the stipulated time, establishing the deliverables and validating them (Analysis of unit prices, Work Generators, Material purchase invoices or payment of services).
- Manage meetings to clarify concepts with the greatest impact on the budget (example: leveling grounds) prior to the start of the work with the intention of reducing impacts on Change Orders.
**Education & Experience**
Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Area of Study: Architect, civil engineer
Years of Experience: Three to five years.
Type of Experience: Costs and budgets
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Well administrated, work under pressure
Other/Preferred: Proactive, negotiation skills, organization
