An Account Tax Specialist at MIDEA will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance, preparing and filing tax returns, and providing tax-related information to optimize financial performance. This position requires in-depth knowledge of tax regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards. The adecuado candidate has experience in tax accounting, auditing, and financial reporting.

We are currently looking for an Account Tax Specialist to join our team.

What will you do?

• Tax Compliance and Reporting: Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns in compliance with regulations, ensure timely and accurate tax filing and payment processes, and maintain detailed tax records and documentation for audits and internal reviews.

• Tax Planning and Strategy: Collaborate on tax planning initiatives to optimize tax obligations and compliance,



as well as research and interpret tax laws to provide guidance on regulatory changes.

• Audit and Risk Management: Support internal and external tax audits by providing accurate financial records, addressing tax inquiries from regulatory authorities and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with international, federal, and local tax regulations. Resolve accounting and tax requirements related to annual tax reports.

• Responsible for reports required by INEGI and the Ministry of Economy.

• Financial Analysis and Support: Collaborate with the finance team to assess tax impacts on financial performance, assist in monthly and year-end closing activities related to tax accounting, general accounting, expense reviews, monthly reports, and financial statements.
