JOB OVERVIEW
Plan A Technologies is looking for a highly skilled Senior Lead Frontend Developer with strong Unity expertise to guide our team in building engaging high-performance social gaming experiences. This is a hands-on implementation role and will oversee frontend engineering, mentor developers, and collaborate closely with product, art, and backend teams to innovative gaming experiences.
The idóneo candidate is both a technical expert and a natural leader — someone who enjoys coaching others, setting standards, and ensuring the quality and performance of our games as well as rolling up their sleeves.

Please note: you must have at least 10+ years of experience with Unity to be considered for this role and 4+ years leading teams

JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Lead and mentor a team of Unity frontend developers, providing guidance, feedback, and support.
- Establish coding standards, best practices, and development workflows for the Unity team.
- Drive architectural decisions for game features, UI, game flow, and performance optimization.




- Review code and ensure overall code quality and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain core gameplay features, UI components, animations, and interactions using Unity and C#.
- Ensure smooth game performance across devices and platforms.
- Work closely with designers and artists to integrate assets and deliver polished, visually cohesive experiences.
- Optimize games for memory usage, loading times, and frame rate stability.
- Work with the Game Producer to translate requirements into technical plans.
- Partner with QA to guarantee stable releases and high-quality player experiences.
- Coordinate with backend/DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of game logic, APIs, and services.
- Ensure games comply with any industry standards and certification requirements.
