About This Role:
We have a high visibility opportunity for an Engineering Manager for our Kidde Business Unit in Navojoa, Mexico. The successful candidate must possess a strong engineering background, process development and technical leadership competencies to successfully support the Detection & Alarm (D&A;) and Signaling life safety product lines. This position is based in Navojoa, Mexico, and will report to the Senior Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Leader focal point in the manufacturing floor,
driving manufacturing integrity and supporting the production line for D&A; and Signaling products
Partner with Supply Chain to proactively avoid component shortage or end of life situations that could impact the production line. Once a shortage is identified, work with supply chain to identify second sources and with Engineering in Bradenton or FCN to qualify/approve new parts and implement in the factory.
Identify cost reduction opportunities. Lead cross functional workshops to identify alternate design solutions, component sources, automation and process optimization opportunities (including injection process, assembly process, others).
New product implementation (NPI) in the factory, working cross functionally to drive speed to market, concurrent engineering (design, supply and manufacturing) and robust implementation in the assembly line
Develop a lean and agile Engineering team driving the system integration of
