We are seeking a talented **Senior Automation Tester with expertise in Java**to join our team.
**Responsibilities**
- Write functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
- Automate the test cases for regression testing, functional testing, smoke testing
- Plan and execute automation tasks and ensure testing standards are followed within the team
- Integrate test cycles with the DevOps pipeline
- Work creatively and efficiently in troubleshooting and resolving system issues
- Automate testing for back-end services (REST APIs)
- Document and report defects
- Manage test data and test environments
- Maintain test script version control
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar; Master's degree in Computer Science
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2+ years in test automation or a combination of development and testing experience
- Strong experience in REST & SOAP API testing using tools like SOAPUI and Groovy Scripting
- Hands-on experience with Selenium or similar automation tools
- Proficiency in writing and maintaining automation scripts to meet acceptance criteria
- Experience working in Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in functional, integration, and regression testing
- Experience in writing unit tests covering edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Knowledge of manual testing on a good level
- Experience integrating test suites with CI/CD pipelines
- Qualifications in documentation and English proficiency (B2 level or higher)
**Nice to have**
- Background in CI/CD practices
- Familiarity with Apache Maven, Gradle, and Cucumber for build/test processes
