We're currently looking for a Financial Analyst 2 based in Mexico City, Mexico to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. Position requires working U.S. schedule.
**Job Functions**
Include but are not limited to:
- Perform month end financial statement activities including journal entries in accordance with GAAP and analysis compared to budgets and forecasts.
- Provide financial business case support for R&D; expense and capital projects.
- Support cost control of expenditures against budget as well as review and approval with the objective of optimizing R&D; expenditures.
- Perform financial budgeting and planning activities for R&D; division at both a departmental level responsibility and project level.
- Lead business problem resolution across cross functional team activities within R&D.;
- Ad hoc projects and assignments as needed
**Education**:
Bachelor's degree; preferably in accounting or finance.
**Previous work experience**:
3-5 years of accounting or finance experience.
**Required knowledge**:
Forecasting, accounting background.
