We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative **Senior Data Scientist** to join our team, focusing on driving impactful solutions within the supply chain domain through advanced analytics and machine learning.
This role offers the opportunity to tackle complex business problems, develop state-of-the-art models, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
**Responsibilities**
- Identify and analyze business problems within the supply chain domain
- Develop and validate machine learning and heuristic models aligned with business needs
- Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify relevant datasets and ensure data quality
- Build and optimize mathematical models to solve operations research problems
- Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for business teams
- Improve existing models by evaluating and incorporating new approaches and methodologies
- Develop intuitive dashboards and tools to visualize model outputs and key metrics
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production environments
- Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem of machine learning libraries
- Strong command of SQL for querying and managing data
- Background in mathematical modeling or operations research
- Understanding of classical machine learning techniques and optimization problems
- Capability to independently propose and implement model performance enhancements
**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with Google Vertex AI and advanced generative AI frameworks
- Expertise in Gurobi Optimizer for solving operations research problems
