The MRO buyer plays a crucial role to ensuring that the materials and services necessary for the maintenance and operation of the plant are available in a timely manner and at the best possible cost.
1. **Supplier Research and Selection**:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
Conduct market analysis to find the best purchasing options.
2. **Contract Negotiation**:
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions.
Ensure contracts comply with company policies.
3. **Inventory Management**:
Monitor and maintain optimal MRO inventory levels.
Coordinate with the warehouse department to ensure material availability.
4. **Purchase Order Processing**:
Create and manage purchase orders.
Ensure the correct receipt and verification of acquired materials.
5. **Interdepartmental Collaboration**:
- Work with other departments such as production, maintenance, and finance.
Ensure MRO needs align with company objectives.
6. **Cost Control**:
Analyze and control acquisition costs.
Continuously seek opportunities for savings and efficiency.
7. **Regulatory Compliance**:
Ensure all purchases comply with applicable regulations and standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
8. **Supplier Relationship Management**:
Maintain strong and effective relationships with suppliers.
Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
Experiência y requisitos
- ** English proficiency at +85%.**:
- High school diploma or **Bachelor degree.**:
- ** Work**experience in MRO purchasing for 3-5 years.
- ** Strong excel skills**and knowledge of SAP system, MRO System,



E-flow system (desirable)
- ** Data Analysis**: Courses in data analysis and tools like Excel or advanced analysis software can improve the ability to make informed decisions.
- ** Negotiation**: Excellent negotiation skills to obtain the best price conditions and contract terms.
- ** Communication**: Effective communication skills to interact with suppliers and other departments within the company.
