Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior OpenShift / Kubernetes Platform Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the engineering, operation, automation, and continuous improvement of the Bank’s enterprise OpenShift and Kubernetes platform supporting mission-critical workloads across hybrid cloud environments.
You will combine platform operations with project delivery, helping to modernize infrastructure through automation, DevOps practices, and cloud-native technologies while ensuring the highest standards of security, resilience, compliance, and operational excellence.
This position requires a highly skilled infrastructure engineer with deep expertise in container platforms, Linux, infrastructure automation, and enterprise platform engineering.

Key Responsibilities
Platform Engineering & Operations
- Operate, maintain, and continuously improve the Bank’s enterprise OpenShift and Kubernetes platform.
- Ensure platform stability, scalability, security, and performance across hybrid cloud environments.




- Perform complete platform lifecycle management including installation, upgrades, patching, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Participate in a rotating on-call support schedule within a four-person team.

Kubernetes & Container Platform
- Design, implement, and operate enterprise-grade Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
- Manage networking, storage, security, and cluster services.
- Develop reusable container platform standards, templates, and base images.
- Support business application teams in adopting cloud-native technologies and containerized workloads.
- Provide architectural guidance for high availability, disaster recovery, and workload resilience.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Build reusable automation frameworks using Ansible, Terraform, and GitOps methodologies.
