The Role

We're looking for a hands-on, mid-level SEO Specialist to drive organic growth for our DTC storefront and product catalog on a part-time basis. You'll do the work — keyword research, on-page optimization, technical fixes, and content briefs — with a direct line to revenue. As a freelancer you'll own your deliverables and work independently, with regular check-ins with our marketing team.

What You'll Do
- Execute the SEO roadmap for our Shopify store: keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and site structure for collections, product, and content pages.
- Run keyword and SERP research in the home décor / picture frames space and turn it into a prioritized action plan.
- Optimize product and collection pages at scale — titles, meta descriptions, headings, image alt text, internal linking, and structured data (schema).
- Diagnose and resolve technical SEO issues: crawlability, indexation, site speed / Core Web Vitals, canonicalization, and redirects.
- Write and manage content briefs for blog and landing pages; partner with writers/designers to ship SEO-optimized content.




- Track rankings, organic traffic, and conversions; report on performance and tie your work back to revenue.
- Monitor competitors and algorithm updates, and adjust accordingly.

What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally with e-commerce and/or Shopify.
- AI Native Knowledge.
- Solid grasp of technical SEO fundamentals (crawling, indexing, schema, Core Web Vitals).
- Proficiency with SEO tools — Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
- A track record of growing organic traffic (and ideally revenue).
- Excellent written and spoken English (near-native preferred — you'll optimize English-language content).
- Self-directed and reliable — able to manage your own time and hit deadlines with limited weekly hours.
- Able to work core US business hours (Eastern or Central overlap).
