What you´ll do
- Prepare and present regular reports on inventory trends, KPIs, cost-saving opportunities and actively support resolution of inventory issues.
- Monitor safety stock levels and evaluate obsolete inventory, providing actionable recommendations to optimize inventory.
- Manage high-impact projects focused on resolving critical material flow challenges as assigned by leadership.
- Lead strategic initiatives to improve the handling of non-conforming materials, driving operational efficiency and measurable cost savings.
- Lead blocked inventory reporting for monthly and annual reviews across multiple sites.
- Leverage inventory control best practices to ensure accurate system inventory balances of non-conforming materials across manufacturing sites.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counting and physical inventory activities with operations team to ensure accuracy and full compliance with corporate inventory control standards.
- Ensure end-to-end material flow of non-conforming inventory—covering supplier correction, rework, or scrap—is accurately documented and appropriately escalated.
- Coordinate the removal or transfer of defective materials in compliance with company procedures and maintain system integrity.
- Support and monitor planning, disposition, and trials of new materials, changes, and reworks.
- Manage additional projects as assigned by leadership.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4-5 years of experience in Manufacturing or Quality environments.
- 1-2 years of experience in Root Cause Analysis and/or Continuous Improvement.
- Hands-on experience with SAP (including APO) and proficiency in Power BI are strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Self-driven and collaborative with the ability to operate independently.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills.
- APICS (CPIM, CSCP) certification is a plus.
