We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced **Senior Automation Tester**to join our team.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement automated testing frameworks using JavaScript and TypeScript
- Write reusable and maintainable tests leveraging the Chai Assertion Library
- Utilize Cucumber JS to enable behavior-driven development (BDD) testing strategies
- Manage and maintain test scripts in a Git-based version control system
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies and align on testing methodologies
- Identify, document, and analyze defects, contributing to the continuous improvement of automation processes
**Requirements**:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience as an Automation Tester
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for developing automated tests
- Strong knowledge of testing frameworks such as Chai Assertion Library and Cucumber JS
- Hands-on experience with Git for version control and team collaboration
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher to ensure effective communication
**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with BitBucket for managing code repositories
- Understanding of Jenkins for implementing continuous integration and deployment pipelines
- Experience using Jira for task tracking and managing project workflows
- Knowledge of the Xray plugin for Jira to integrate test management into project processes
