**Summary/Objective**
Perform accounting and financial tasks related to the efficient maintenance, processing, and reconciliation of financial transactions. Completes payments, controls expenses, and ensures financial accuracy by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, payments, and account records. Primary focus on accounts payable, including vendor payments, expense tracking, and compliance, with future growth into accounts receivable, client payment resolution, and financial reporting. Supports month-end closing, audits, and financial statement preparation while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards.

- Collect and analyze financial information for assigned accounts, products, product lines, or business units to track progress against financial goals.
- Report current or expected financial performance and create financial models to guide decision-making.
- Analyze cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to recommend actions or modifications to financial procedures, plans, and controls.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.
- Post invoices and cash entries.
- Contact clients for payment resolution and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Perform accounting record maintenance and reconcile payments.
- Generate reports as required by management.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 requirements.
- Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing checks, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
- Ensure credits are received for outstanding memos and issue stop-payments or purchase order amendments as needed.
- Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices and expense reports and recording entries.
- Process employee payments by verifying expense reports and advance requests, then preparing checks.
- Assist with month-end closing and provide supporting documentation for audits.
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accounting practices (e.g., 1099 maintenance).
- Support the accounting and organizational mission by completing related tasks as needed.

**Supervisory Responsibility**
This position has no direct reports.
**Work Environment**
This job operates in a professional manufacturing office and shop floor environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. This position may occasionally require extended hours and/or weekend work.
**Travel**
Up to 5% may be required.
**Required Education, Skills, and Experience**
- _ Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable area or accounting area._
- _ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting - or similar career._
- _ Fluent English._
