**Job Title: Procurement Manager - Foods Mexico**
**Job Purpose**
As a **Procurement Manager - Foods Mexico**, your mission is to create top
- and bottom-line growth and value for the Mexico Foods business.
This role requires close business engagement with multiple functions, including **R&D;, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Global Portfolio, BG Procurement**, and suppliers.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, bias for action, influencing capabilities, strategy development, business acumen, and project management skills are essential for success in this position.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Drive and deliver procurement actions under the Foods strategy, including innovation management, forecast engagement, sustainability, and value creation through **5S**, **ASA/AMA projects**, **complexity reduction**, and **Resilience Program**:
- Ensure early procurement and supplier involvement in innovations and supply chain projects; act as a core team member in cross-functional teams to ensure **OTIF** (On Time In Full) delivery.
- Support portfolio buyers with Foods factories’ material procurement projects (e.g., network optimization, ASA/AMA).
- Identify and deliver in-year and long-term material saving opportunities; secure resources for cost-saving projects.
- Ensure visibility of CAPEX requirements for moulds and alignment with cluster SC functions.
- Align projects with suppliers, ensuring they are part of joint business development plans and supported by the Foods business.
- Build strong global procurement networks to deliver fast and high-quality savings and innovation projects.
**Experience & Qualifications**
**Technical Skills**
- Strong procurement expertise.
- Project management skills for cost savings and innovation (including network planning and risk assessment).
- Strategy development and implementation,
translating business objectives into actionable procurement strategies and roadmaps.
- Finance acumen (P&L; understanding) to assess material inflation and communicate impacts on innovation projects.
- Supply market intelligence and analysis to build strong portfolio and supplier understanding.
- Alliance and relationship management to deliver long-term value.
- Sustainability roadmap execution in partnership with portfolio teams.
- Strong supplier negotiation skills.
**Cross-Functional Skills**
- Customer service mindset in all stakeholder relationships.
- Implementation of supply chain improvement programs.
- Advanced project management skills.
**Experience You Should Have**
- University degree.
- Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or R&D.;
- Experience leading change management projects.
