The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Senior Corporate Auditor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Conducting and leading audits of moderate to high risk and complexity to ensure the accuracy of financial statements, adequacy of operational and internal controls, and identification of improvement opportunities.- Participating in audit scoping and risk assessment.- Analyzing data and selecting samples for testing processes to identify control gaps and areas of potential operational improvement.- Documenting and summarizing audit findings and developing recommendations for process improvement.- Communicating audit findings both orally and in written form to management.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in Finance and/or Accounting.- Five (5) years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting.- Advance English level.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience working in an internal audit function or Big 4 audit experience.- Professional accounting certifications including the CIA, CPA or CMA.- Comprehensive analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.- Working knowledge of statistical sampling methodologies.- Excellent oral and written communication skills.- Experience working with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel for data analysis).- Desirable Portuguese language.
Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/international
Work location: This role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least four days a week in the corporate office at Santa Fe, Mexico.
