We’re looking for someone with _**strong expertise**_ _in_ **US GAAP**_and hands-on experience with _**revenue recognition**_, including a deep understanding of _**ASC 606**_._
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and company policies.
- Review and interpret customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue treatment.
- Partner with external local accountants to ensure proper US GAAP and local GAAP treatments of transactions.
- Manage end-to-end Order to Cash process with internal and external accountants. Reviewing and approving transactions to ensure proper accounting treatments and billing requirements are fulfilled, thereby facilitating timely receipt of payments.
- Manage project accounting within NetSuite and the ServiceNow Project Management system.
- Reconciling projects for proper classification of Revenue, Deferred Revenue, and Unbilled Revenue on a monthly basis by subsidiary.
- Manage monthly Intercompany Transfer Pricing chargebacks between subsidiaries, ensuring each subsidiary properly recognizes and invoices for Intercompany revenue and expenses.
- Perform monthly revenue close procedures, including reconciliations and flux analysis.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Project Managers, Accounting, etc.) to assess and document revenue-related terms.
- Calculate Sales Commissions on a monthly basis, ensuring proper calculations and submissions to local payroll personnel.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of global revenue accounting policies and procedures.
- Work with international teams to align global revenue accounting practices.
- Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, ServiceNow, HubSpot).
- Support external audits for revenue and billing testing.




**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in revenue accounting; private equity entities are ideal.
- Bilingual: English and Spanish
- In-depth knowledge of ACS 606 and global revenue standards.
- Strong understanding of Deferred Revenue and Unbilled Revenue classifications.
- Strong systems knowledge, including NetSuite ERP revenue recognition software.
- Understanding of foreign currency transactions and global tax/VAT compliance.
- Experience with multinational operations and foreign currency considerations.
- Understanding of Intercompany Transfer Pricing processes and local compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
**Preferred Experience**:
- NetSuite Revenue Recognition Software.
- Experience within a integral professional services industry.
- Prior experience working in a high-growth, global environment.
