The Digital Project Engineer is responsible for the complete management of an industrial IT project from the first contacts with the customer until the final acceptance of the installation.
**Your Mission**:
He is the privileged interlocutor of the SIDEL Group customer and salesperson for all technical and organizational points directly related to the project.
- Collects all basic data and project constraints
- Coordinates the interfaces between the various stakeholders of the internal and external project at SIDEL
- Draw the network architecture of the project
- Defines the list of equipment to be purchased for the realization of the project
- Assemble and test the hardware configuration
- Knows how to modify PLC programs of the different machines or systems of the project
- Commissioning and deployment of Sidel digital solutions
- Performs tests and commissioning at the customer's site in Mexico or abroad of the entire project. As such, plan around 50% of the working time for business trips.
- Write, during commissioning, weekly reports on the progress of the project
- Train the client's staff in the use of the digital solution implemented
- Write end-of-case files
On the other hand, at the request of the department manager, he is required to:
- Train SIDEL staff in the sale and use of the group's digital tools
- Serve as technical support to salespeople and through this, accompany them to customers, in Mexico or abroad, to make presentations.
**Your Profile**:
Education:
- Degree in an engineering discipline such as Electronic ,Electrical, Industrial, Automation Engineer, with at least 5 years of experience
Experience:




- Knowledge of a PLC programming language
- Know how to propose and configure simple network architectures and IT infrastructures
- Experience in negotiation and contract execution management
- Experience in project management
- Good practical knowledge in electricity and experience in industrial field
- Ability to coordinate a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in automation, industrial computing, network, client-server architecture
- Have knowledge of databases and reporting
- Availability for business trips
Skills / Specific Knowledge:
- Expertise on equipment used in the beverage industry and packaging lines
- Expertise of PLC programming
- Expertise of SCADA software architecture and use
- Knowledge of production and bottleneck concepts
- Knowledge of the concepts of control and diagnostics of production machines
- Expertise on project management methods and techniques
- Ability with strict financial follow-ups
- Experience with effective techniques of presentation
- Fluent to speak and write in Spanish and English
- Deep knowledge of IT software (Excel, Power Point, Word, Microsoft Project)
Assets:
- Mastery of a programming language is a plus (C #, java, python, html / css, etc.)
- Knowledge of development and operator interfaces techniques (HMI)
- Knowledge of conveying and workflow technologies
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical industrial concepts
- Motivated to travel frequently
- Fluency of a third language such as French, Portuguese
