We are a global Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team seeking a **Lead Cloud Engineer** to lead innovation and development for our Cloud Developer Platform.
**Responsibilities**
- Work with the Cloud Tooling team to handle services such as Hashicorp Vault, authentication and authorization systems, and certificate monitoring
- Write high-quality, reliable code for internal tools, APIs, and automation solutions
- Provide customer support for Cloud Engineering services through participation in an on-call rotation
- Craft and share High-Level Designs and developer documentation
- Address complex issues across diverse technology layers within the stack
- Take part in planning releases, workload prioritization, and scheduling activities
- Ensure compliance with privacy, security, availability, and resilience requirements
- Boost Kubernetes workflows via optimized provisioning leveraging EKS
**Requirements**:
- Over 5 years of experience in software engineering or cloud infrastructure development
- Proficiency in Golang for developing high-performance solutions
- Knowledge of secrets management tools like Vault and authorization frameworks
- Familiarity with certificate management, cryptography, and encryption practices
- Skills in Terraform and Git for infrastructure-as-code and version control
- Expertise in AWS provisioning, IAM roles, and account management
- Understanding of Kubernetes concepts, particularly EKS implementations
- Background in networking principles, especially in AWS-native settings
