Nexaminds is looking for a Principal Backend Engineer & AI to join our
engineering team. In this role, you'll design and build scalable backend




services while driving the integration of cutting-edge AI capabilities into
modern cloud applications. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to
develop AI-powered backend solutions, implement LLM integrations, and build
highly reliable distributed systems that power next-generation products.

Requirements:

* 8+ years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer or Software
Engineer.
* Expert-level experience developing backend applications with Node.js.
* Strong experience designing scalable microservices and distributed backend
architectures.
* Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into backend systems.
* Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), including API
integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar).
* Experience with Prompt Engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
architectures.
* Experience implementing AI orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and
AI-driven APIs.
* Strong experience working with Mess
