ROLES AND RESPONSABILITIES
1) Run and understand tests focused on validating new products or changes made to the existing ones.
2) Generate reports of results associated with the research and development activities
3) Develop and implement new testing techniques.
4) Provides technical support to commercial and manufacturing teams through specification tests, product qualification and recommendations.
5) Exercise technical discretion in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project strategies
6) Initiate development programs and demonstrate feasibility by generating samples, data and reporting
SPECIFIC SKILLS
1) Excellent analytical skills and focus to get results with strong technical background.
2) Strong Planning and organizational skills.
3) Ability to work independently as needed and yet deliver results
4) Fundamental understanding of physico-chemical polymer science.
5) Characterization of polymers and its blends, additives, fillers, pigments, etc. including thermal, mechanical, physical, optical characterization, etc.

EDUCATION
1) Bachelor’s degree in industrial chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Polymer Engineering.
2) Master’s degree in Material Science, Chemistry or Polymer Engineering a must.
3) PhD in Material Science or Polymer Engineering will substitute for 5 and above years of experience in characterization of polymer & polymer blends characterization additives, fillers, pigments, etc. including thermal, mechanical, physical, optical characterization, etc.
4) English fluency required, oral and written communication > 80%.
