We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our team and work on cloud-based applications for a general client. The role will involve developing Python-based backend services, working with AWS and MongoDB, and supporting Salesforce integrations and CI/CD processes.

The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience with Python, hands-on AWS experience, and good knowledge of MongoDB. Experience with Salesforce deployments and CI/CD pipelines is also required.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and applications using Python and AWS.
- Develop and enhance Python-based microservices that integrate with Salesforce and MongoDB.
- Build and maintain APIs and integration services for business applications.
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
- Work with MongoDB to design schemas, write queries, create indexes, and improve database performance.
- Monitor applications and AWS resources and implement appropriate logging, alerting, and troubleshooting processes.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding and development standards.
- Develop unit, integration, and functional tests for backend services and deployment processes.
- Identify and resolve application, database, and infrastructure-related performance issues.
- Follow security best practices related to authentication, authorization, data protection, and AWS configuration.
- Work closely with architects,



product owners, QA, and operations teams to deliver solutions.
- Support production releases and troubleshoot issues during deployment and post-production.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment procedures, and runbooks.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in Python backend development .
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based application development.
- Strong experience with MongoDB , including schema design, indexing, querying, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Salesforce CI/CD and deployment processes .
- Experience developing microservices and REST APIs .
- Good understanding of CI/CD, Git, version control, and automated deployments .
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Good understanding of cloud security and application security practices.

Preferred Skills
- FastAPI, Flask, or similar Python frameworks.
- Salesforce DX (SFDX) / Salesforce CLI.
- Copado or Gearset.
- Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- PyTest or similar testing frameworks.
- Experience with asset management or IT asset management is a plus.
