**About the Role**
**Key responsibilities**
- Lead the development of **custom WordPress websites**, ensuring scalability, performance, and clean code standards.
- Implement **front-end functionality in React**, enhancing UX/UI beyond standard WordPress themes and plugins.
- Integrate creative assets (video, branding, social campaigns) into websites for seamless marketing execution.
- Ensure websites meet **SEO, accessibility (ADA), and performance benchmarks** (90+ PageSpeed/GTmetrix scores).
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and marketing strategists to translate creative briefs into technical builds.
- Manage migrations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of WordPress/React projects.
- Stay updated on best practices in **WordPress, React, and modern web development**.
**Key requirements**
- **5+ years of experience** in WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, API integrations).
- **3+ years of experience**:
- with React.js (component-based architecture, hooks, state management).Proficiency in
- **HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP**:
- Strong experience with **WordPress performance optimization** in multiple builders and themes, and SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with **headless WordPress** or hybrid WordPress/React builds is a plus.
- Experience with version control (Git), staging environments, and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with non-technical team members.




- Spoken and written English C1 proficiency
**Desired skills**
- Experience working in **digital agencies or marketing-focused teams**.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA compliance).
- Experience with cloud hosting (AWS, GCP) and server management.
- Familiarity with paid media tracking tools, analytics, and marketing integrations.
- International experience with US or Canada-based companies.

**Work schedule**
