Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The Category Owner leads the national sourcing strategy and operational governance for the MRO portfolio in Mexico, managing $135MM USD in annual spend across Spare Parts, Maintenance Services, Consumables, PPE, Uniforms, and Pallets.



The role goes beyond tactical category management and operates as a strategic business leader, accountable for transforming MRO into a scalable, compliant, and digitally enabled function.
The position oversees eight direct reports and directs the E2E execution of the category across 14 plants, setting national standards, building functional capabilities, and ensuring alignment with Engineering, Manufacturing, EHS, Finance, and HR acting as a key LATAM COE partner, the role drives the Centralization agenda, compliance, and long term value creation.
The Category Owner ensures business continuity, risk mitigation, and cost performance by delivering Net Zero Opex Inflation, strengthening supplier governance, and executing productivity and sustainability commitments.
