**About the team**:
This role sits within **Finance** in the **General Business Service Data Office (GDO)**, as part of the **Data Management Team (DMT)**. You’ll help maintain core master data across systems of record to enable reliable processes and reporting. The role reports to the **Master Data Team Lead**.
**Accountabilities**:
You will ensure the **quality and accuracy** of data services within Finance and support the Team Manager in overseeing DMT performance across **vendor, customer, and finance master data**. Key responsibilities include:
- ** Service delivery**: Monitor daily service delivery and request queues, manage priorities, and review KPI metrics with commentary and root-cause analysis.
- ** Issue resolution & improvement**: Lead issue resolution, support process improvement initiatives and sub-projects, and prepare reports and performance metrics to identify trends and improvements.
- ** Stakeholder engagement**: Engage with local business units to implement best practices.
- ** Controls & governance**: Operate financial controls and governance to meet **SOx**, **Financial Controls Framework**, and **audit** requirements.
- ** Project leadership**:
Lead projects across the full lifecycle—planning, execution, performance control, and closure.
**Essential skills and experience**:
- ** Education**: Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- ** Experience**: 2-5 years in Accounts Payable and/or Vendor, Customer, and Finance Master Data maintenance, or a solid understanding of Master Data.
- ** Technical**: Solid understanding of **SAP**, **Oracle**, or other ERP systems and **data analysis**.
- ** SAP proficiency**: Understanding of SAP dictionaries including **Vendors**, **Customers**, **Pricing and Bank branches**, **Chart of accounts**, **Cost Elements**, and **Cost Objects**.
- ** Communication**: Strong communication skills in **English**.
- ** Nice to have**: Knowledge of **Visual Basic** and **macros**; proficiency in a particular foreign language where required.
