Smart Education is currently recruiting for **Day-to-Day SEN Teaching Assistants** to work across a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) Schools in the Birmingham area.
Driving licence and access to a car is a real advantage, as you will have the flexibility to travel to schools across Birmingham.

**Job requirements**:
- Minimum of 6 months UK experience working within an SEN school setting
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) preferred
- A valid Child or Child/Adult DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to process one)
- Ability to travel to different schools driving licence and access to a car advantageous
- Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
**Role responsibilities**:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Assisting the class teacher with daily activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Supporting pupils personal development and well-being
- Providing flexibility and reliability to support schools at short notice
