Company Description daypass.com is a travel-tech platform that enables people to book daytime access to hotels, resorts, beach clubs, and curated experiences without requiring an overnight stay. The platform helps guests turn any free day into a getaway with options such as pools, spa days, fitness access, all-inclusive packages, and food & beverage credits, all supported by fast booking and clear confirmation. For hospitality partners, daypass.com serves as a distribution channel to generate incremental revenue, monetize amenities during off-peak hours, and reach new customers while maintaining control over inventory and guest experience.
Customers benefit from a curated catalog, transparent communication, and responsive support that make it simple to discover and enjoy premium day experiences. At daypass.com, the focus is on creating memorable days through a marketplace model that aligns the needs of both venues and guests.
About the RoleWe’re looking for a Creative Director with a strong advertising background — someone who has worked at an agency or within a brand with an in-house creative team — to help turn daypass.com into a highly desirable travel brand.
This role is not about simply producing ads. It’s about developing conceptual campaigns, defining the brand voice, shaping the company’s visual identity, and leading both our internal creative team and external freelancers.
You will report directly to the CCO and CEO and work closely with the leadership team on brand decisions that will shape the company over the next three years.
What You’ll Do· Define and evolve the daypass.com brand identity, including voice, tone, personality, brand promise, and brand architecture
· Develop and lead conceptual campaigns by market and season, from consumer insight through to the creative brief
· Partner with Performance Marketing to elevate paid media creative, moving from purely functional ads to memorable work that also converts
· Lead the in-house Graphic Designer and coordinate external freelancers and agencies across video, photography, motion, and PR
· Develop launch communications for new markets and products, including new country launches and new business verticals
· Define an integrated communications system across web, app, email, social media, PR, out-of-home, and B2B materials for hotel partners
· Present creative proposals to the CCO and board, and defend ideas with strong strategic reasoning
· Act as the guardian of the brand across strategic decisions, including product naming, partner communications, and investor materials
What We’re Looking For — Must Have· 4–12 years of experience in advertising, including at least 3 years as a Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, or Head of Brand
· Proven experience at an agency such as McCann, Ogilvy, Anónimo, Terán, Publicis, JWT, DDB, BBDO, another recognized creative agency, or within a brand with a strong in-house creative team
· A portfolio demonstrating conceptual campaigns, not just visually strong executions, but work built around a clear big idea, consumer insight, and strategy
· Experience defining complete brand identities, including naming, brand books, voice, tone, and visual systems
· Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a creative team of at least 2–5 people or coordinating external agencies
· Equal strength in strategic and creative thinking — able to defend both a creative idea and the business objective behind it
· Executive-level communication skills, with confidence presenting to CCOs, CEOs, and boards
· Fluency in Spanish/English, as our venues, partners, and candidates operate across multiple languages and markets
Nice to Have· Awards or recognition from Cannes Lions, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, El Sol, Effie, D&AD;, One Show, or similar festivals
· Experience in travel, hospitality, tourism real estate, airlines, or other highly seasonal categories
· Startup or scale-up experience, with an understanding of speed, autonomy, and building a brand from an early stage
· Experience using generative AI tools such as Midjourney, Runway, and Sora for creative exploration and concept development
· An established network of video, photography, motion, and PR freelancers that can be activated quickly
What We Offer· Direct employment, plus an equity plan and participation in the upside of our Series A
· Hybrid work model in Mexico City: 2–3 days in the office, with the remaining days remote
· Full ownership and autonomy over the brand — you report directly to the CCO and have a voice in strategic decisions
· Real budget for conceptual campaigns, not just tactical paid media
· A product — day passes — with the opportunity to build an entirely new category in LATAM
· A marketplace operating across 17+ countries with leading hospitality partners, creating the opportunity to build a portfolio of multi-market campaigns
