Position SummaryThe Operations and CS role communicates daily with customers to ensure all shipments are tracked proactively, operational issues are resolved promptly, and customer expectations are consistently exceeded.

Main Responsibilities

- Work closely with customers and U.S./Mexico Operations teams to address and resolve shipment issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate with shippers, consignees, and customs brokers regarding shipment exceptions and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with customers to reduce accessorial charges and improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with other Hub Group offices to maintain On-Time Performance (OTP).
- Manage customer appointment scheduling through customer portals, email, phone, and other communication channels.
- Monitor daily load acceptance allocations and determine pool size requirements to maintain OTP.
- Prepare and maintain shipment tracking and tracing reports for customers and internal teams.
- Communicate operational issues to Coordinators and Team Leaders as needed.
- Identify available carrier capacity and coordinate with the Mexico Network team.
- Support operational and administrative load management activities, including order management, pickup and delivery coordination, and issue resolution.
- Review, validate, invoice, and communicate approved accessorial charges to customers.
- Process vendor accessorial approvals daily to ensure carrier satisfaction and timely cost control.
- Partner with customers and internal departments to optimize appointment scheduling, improve profitability,



increase driver utilization, and maintain on-time performance.
- Develop a strong understanding of rail transit, rail cut-off schedules, and rail availability to improve appointment planning.
- Work with the Pricing Team to resolve individual shipment pricing discrepancies.
- Participate in on-call, after-hours, and weekend rotations based on customer business requirements.
- Maintain availability to work Monday through Saturday. Extended hours may be required in special situations with prior approval from the direct manager.
- Escalate operational issues to management, Coordinators, or Team Leaders as appropriate.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Key Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer-focused mindset.
- Versátil schedule to support customer requirements and operational demands.
- Willingness to travel when required to support operations or gain additional business knowledge.
- Knowledge of the logistics industry; experience in the intermodal market is preferred.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Successful completion of required psychometric assessments.

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, International Relations, Transportation Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations is preferred.
