**UPS Installation Technician (Eaton Certified) - Contract**

**Job Overview**
We are seeking an **Eaton-certified UPS Installation Technician** to support the deployment of a new Eaton UPS system at our MX0E site in Ciudad Juarez. The technician must hold **valid Eaton certification** to ensure warranty compliance.
**Responsibilities**
- Unrack and remove existing UPS (site responsible for electrical disconnect — hard-wired)
- Rack and install new Eaton UPS and external battery modules
- Install transformer and network card
- Identify PDUs and migrate switch power feeds to new UPS
- Install & connect temperature / humidity sensor
- Connect UPS to network & configure (IP, ports, etc.)
- Ensure UPS is operational and online
- Share completion photos:
- Power connections




- IT equipment
- Rack/enclosure
- Complete communication room
**Equipment to be Installed**
- Eaton 9PX6K UPS (6KVA 208V, L6-30P plug)
- Eaton 9PXEBM External Battery Module
- 2-post rack mounting kit (RK2PC)
- 208V to 120V step-down transformer
- Eaton EMPDT1H1C2 Temp-Humidity Sensor
- Eaton Network M3 card
**Requirements**:
- Eaton Installation Certification (mandatory)
- Experience with rack-mounted UPS installations
- Knowledge of power distribution and basic networking
- Ability to work independently on-site
