WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
• Calculate and manage all tax and legal obligations of the organization.
• Calculate, determine, and review local, state, and federal taxes (VAT, ISR, IMSS, Infonavit, etc.), and support these payments with the corresponding documentation.
• Keep the company's information up to date regarding all tax laws and changes.
• Develop a global, standardized, simplified, and efficient tax process model.
• Gather, consult, and consolidate all tax-related information from accounting/ERP system (JDE).
• Ensure compliance with tax-related controls and legal requirements.
• Prepare and maintain detailed monthly documentation/files.
• Prepare accounting and tax reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit electronic accounting records.
• Preparation and presentation of the Quarterly and Annual Economic Report,
as well as addressing any related requests.
• Ability to reconcile and analyze CFDI (electronic invoices), payment supplements, and accounting records.
• Providing documentation/data support/analysis regarding audit inquiries from tax authorities.
• General accounting and analysis.
YOU HAVE:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in similar positions.
• Bilingual, strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish is required. .
• Knowledge of tax processes.
• Previous experience in internal and external audits.
• Knowledge of financial reporting.
• Proficiency in government platforms (SAT).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with JDE system.
