**What will you be doing?**
Manage import and export of equipment from integral locations to work sites.
Working within the Project with daily interface with other project functions including SCM, Operations, Engineering, In Country Project teams, logistics Subcontractors and vessel owners.
Coordinate each shipment, including paperwork, customs and duties.
Properly track materials that have been transported and any duties and taxes associated with import activities.
Clear vessels and cargo on them. Coordinate with all stakeholders regarding operational and compliance aspect (i.e Jones Act, U.S. regulations, FTZ).
Develop and implement Logistics Plans and associated Procedures as required to support Projects.
Support tenders and Projects with logistics budget, continuous improvement by analyzing and providing the most efficient solution.
Prepare vessel importation 60 days prior arrival in the region.
Support offshore Resources (OR) during dry-dock or maintenance. Support vessel mobilization & demobilization of material and equipment from / to the Project worksites.
Attend vessels daily call during operations.
Ensure process complies with Subsea 7 Business Management Systems and with Customs Regulations in all countries of operation.
Manage and develop strategic relationships with International Freight and Shipping agents, Terminal/Dock Operators, Trucking Companies, and Vessel agents to ensure effective and cost-efficient service.




Manage all SCM activities related to logistics including Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders (SAP), invoice review and processing, archiving in SharePoint, supplier management system, and Supplier assessment.
Knowledge of HSEQ systems and ability to work within the system as required.
**What experience would we like you to have?**
Experience operating at a similar level within a coordination role is required. Sourcing, supply chain and negotiation skills are mandatory. A detailed knowledge of global Customs and Excise regulations. Knowledge of Jones Act and Vessel Import & Export Norms.
Desirable: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Administration/Supply Chain/Logistics education.
Technical (including IT): A detailed understanding and comprehensive knowledge of Inventory management systems and general supply chain and logistics practices.
Tendering: Transportation market knowledge to provide solutions and estimate project logistics costs.
Accountability: Cost driven, and budget ownership are essential to keep projects costs on track.
Analytical and quantitative skills are desired. Ability to understand & react with diverse groups & operations. Problem solving skills are essential.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently and work during out of office hours. The position requires a person with a flexible attitude towards working in remote areas.
