We are seeking an experienced **Cost Accountant** to join our team within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for analyzing production costs, maintaining accurate cost records, and providing leadership with data‑driven insights that enhance operational efficiency and overall profitability
- Maintain and analyze standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
- Perform monthly cost variance analysis and present findings to management.
- Support month‑end close activities, including preparing journal entries and completing account reconciliations.
- Monitor inventory transactions and ensure accuracy of BOMs, routings, and production reporting.
- Conduct periodic inventory audits and participate in cycle counts.
- Prepare cost models for new products, process updates, and capital projects.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to understand cost drivers and recommend process improvements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities related to manufacturing costs.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies.
Experiência y requisitos




- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and cost analysis.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
**Preferred Qualifications / Competencies**
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
- CPA, CMA, or active progress toward certification.
- Experience in high‑volume or complex manufacturing operations.
