**The Opportunity**
The Accounts Payable Senior Professional will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and supporting the overall efficiency of the Accounts Payable department at HITACHI ENERGY MEXICO, S.A. DE C.V.
**How you will make an impact**:
- Process a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors to address payment inquiries and resolve issues.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations related to accounts payable.
- Support the implementation of process improvements within the Accounts Payable function.
- Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.




- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- Train and mentor junior team members as needed.
- Prepare various reports related to accounts payable activity.Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
**Your Background**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a large multinational company.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
