The Long-Term Storage CSR is responsible for handling client inquiries regarding payments, security issues, rental agreements, general customer service inquiries, and prospective new customers. Only a portion of the calls will be potential customers, but they are the most important.
The goal of a prospect call is converting them into reservations, tours, and commitments. While this role supports customers, it is not purely customer service—it requires a strong sales mindset, urgency creation, and the ability to confidently guide callers toward next steps. Therefore some upselling and appointment setting is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle high-volume inbound calls for general customer service of the storage unit facility
- Convert inquiries into reservations or scheduled tours
- Use sales-forward language to guide and close the callers
- Create urgency and communicate value when customers are undecided or price-checking
**Qualifications**:




- 1-2 years of customer service experience (inbound voice or call center preferred).
- Excellent English and Spanish communication skills.
- Strong listening skills, quick thinking, and a customer-first mindset.
- Sales experience strongly preferred (retail, call center, or phone-based conversions)
- Tech-savvy, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
- Comfortable working US business hours.
- Must have a quiet workspace and a reliable internet connection with a backup plan for power and connectivity.
- Fast learner who adapts quickly to new systems and processes.
Required Equipment:
- Hardwired Internet
- Laptop or desktop Windows 10 or better. Processor of i5 8th gen or higher and 16GB RAM. NO Macs!
Schedule:
- Must be able to work one weekend day
- Up to 40 hours/week
- Scheduled 8 hours per day
Pay: $120.00 - $128.00 per hour
