**Biologist**
**Responsibilities**:
- To prepare laboratory testing according to assigned work area using consistently good techniques based in the validate methods established at microbiology laboratory ss:
- Bioburden testing to finished product, water and incoming material and to have knowledge on the identification test of organisms using the microscope.
- LAL testing to finished product, water and incoming material.
- Chemistry testing to incoming material, compounding, solvents and EO residual
- Environmental testing to manufacturing clean room areas.
- Knowledge of the medium preparation and reagents used in the Laboratory Areas.
- Knowledge of the Sterilization and Depyrogenation Process.
- Knowledge about qualification and verification of population counts on biological indicators and preparation samples.




- Knowledge of the cleaning practices and good laboratory practices.
- Review, prepare and file the records in order to comply with good documentation practices.
- Review all results y documentation generated by the testing for completeness and accuracy.
- Provide assistance in special projects (validations, studies and qualification) as required.
**Qualifications**:
- BS degree in Biology or Science. Knowledge of standard laboratory methods and techniques.
- Bilingual (Spanish / English) preferred, at least 70%
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Proactive**.**:
- Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office programs).
